MUMBAI – India’s celebrity couple Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan welcomed a baby boy Tuesday morning.
The proud parents had their first child together at Breach Candy Hospital at 7.30 am on Tuesday morning, Indian Express reported. The mother and baby are both doing fine.
In a statement, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena said that they have named their son Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi. “We are very pleased to share with you all the wonderful news about the birth of our son: Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, on the 20th of December 2016. We would like to thank the media for the understanding and support they have given us over the last nine months, and of course especially our fans and well wishers for their continued affection. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all…With love, Saif & Kareena,” the statement read.

When rumours escalated that the couple was naming their child Saifeena, Saif issued a statement telling media: “We will not be having our child in London and the name of the child will definitely not be called ‘Saifeena’.”
This is Kareena and Saif’s first child together. Saif has two children – Sara and Ibrahim – from his first marriage to actress Amrita Singh.
