Justice Ibrahim Zia appointed as Chief Justice of AJK Supreme Court

MUZAFFARABAD – Justice Ibrahim Zia has been appointed as new Chief Justice of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Supreme Court Justice, said a notification issued here Monday.

The sitting Chief Justice, Justice Muhammad Azam Khan will retire on Feb 24 on superannuation, it said. The newly appointed Chief Justice, Justice Ibrahim Zia will take oath of the office on February 25 at President House in Muzaffarabad.

The President AJK Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan will administer the oath from him.
