Afridi says T20 world cup 2016 will be last of his career

KARACHI (Staff Report) – Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Afridi on Thursday announced that he will say good bye to his cricketing career after T20 world cup 2016.

Afrid, who is also known as Boom Boom, said the upcoming T20 world cup would be the last mega event of my career while talking media persons.

He went on to say that he wishes to shine at the T20 mega event while representing Pakistan and hoist Pakistani flag in India afterwards.

Boom Boom, in answer to a question, stressed Pakistani cricketers to take lesson from the defeat against Bangladesh and improve their fitness. He feared that Pakistan may lose to Afghanistan otherwise.

Earlier Shahid Afridi had announced his retirement from ODI career at world cup 2015 whereas he had already said farewell to his test career.
