ISLAMABAD: Chairman of Pakistani Awami League Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed gave a befitting response to Indian actor Rishi Kapoor following his recent tweets spewing venom against Pakistan ahead of the Pak-India Champions Trophy 2017 final.
In a viral tweet by the actor that received widespread backlash from Pakistanis from different walks of life, Kapoor had mockingly asked the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to send its cricket team to play the finals, suggesting they had sent their hockey team or a kho kho team to play the sport in the previous match.
The tweet is as follows:
PCB. Cricket team bhejna please.Earlier Hockey ya Kho Kho team bhejin thin. Kyon ki 18th June(Fathers Day) Baap khel raha tumhare saath lol!
