CAIRO (Web Desk) -An Egyptian court on Saturday sentenced former President Muhammad Mursi to death in 2011 jailbreak case.
The former president has already been awarded 20 year imprisonment by the court in a separate case.
Mursi has been under detention since the incumbent President Abdul Fatah al-Sisi ousted the Muslim Brotherhood government in July 2013.
The Muslim Brotherhood leader had come into power in democratic elections following the historic Arab spring in 2011.
