One killed, six injured in Indian shelling across LoC

MUZAFFARABAD – Unprovoked shelling of Indian forces on Wednesday killed one civilian, while six others were injured across the Line of Control (LoC), local media reported.

Different villages of Nakyal sector were targeted in the heavy shelling at a time when people were heading towards for their daily work.

The heavy shelling, which began at 7:15am, is still going on it the area due to which citizens are unable to leave their houses.

A person identified as 25-year-old Malik Razaq were killed after a shell hit his house’ courtyard, while six persona, including women injured in the attack in different villages along the LoC.
However, the ISPR – military’s media wing – has not released any such information so far.

The attack comes days after Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Pakistani diplomats slammed India at global forum duing General Assembly session for its atrocities in occupied Kashmir and sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan.

On September 21, six innocent Pakistanis, including four women, were martyred as Indian army launched unprovoked attacks along Working Boundary in Charwa, Chappar and Harpal sectors of Sialkot.
