ISLAMABAD – An accountability court in Islamabad issued non-bailable arrest warrants against the premier’sons Hassan, Hussain and son-in-law Captain Safdar while bail-able arrest warrants were issued for Maryam Nawaz, here on Monday.
The warrants were issued by Judge Muhammad Bashir who directed to arrest and produce Maryam, Hassan, Hussain and Capt Safdar before the court on the next date of hearing scheduled for October 9.
Earlier in the day, former premier Nawaz Sharif appeared before the accountability court for a second time for indictment, however, proceedings were adjourned till next Monday.

The former premier’s children who were summoned before the court for hearing of references filed by the National Accountability Bureau skipped the hearing as they are in London with their ailing mother.
During today’s appearance, a commotion broke out outside the court when the Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal was not allowed to enter the court prompting him to denounce the move.
Iqbal also threatened to tender resignation saying: “I cannot be a puppet minister.”
Talking to media, the minister said that civil administration has not given any directions regarding the deployment of Rangers, adding that the chief commissioner informed him that Rangers troops have taken control of the court suddenly.
He clarified that “state within state” will not be acceptable adding that Rangers are bound to follow the instruction of the civil administration.
