LEAs stave off terror bid in Balochistan following church attack

QUETTA – Law enforcement agencies foiled a massive terror bid in Quetta city of Balochistan on Monday, a day after a suicide bomber ripped through a packed Bethel Memorial Methodist Church killing 9 people.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the bomb disposal squad thwarted terrorism bid near Quetta development authority and diffused 12 kg of explosive material.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, Chief Minister Balochistan Sanaullah Khan Zehri announced compensation of Rs1 million each to the martyrs and Rs0.5 million to the injured for church attack victims.
