Israel attacks military outposts with jets and ground-to-ground missiles: Syrian army

BEIRUT- Israel has attacked several military outposts near the Syrian capital with jets and ground-to-ground missiles in an early-morning strike on Tuesday, Syria’s army said.

The attack was launched from the occupied territories of Lebanon towards the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) positions in the west Damascus town of Qutayfah, Syria.

In a statement issued by the state media, the Assad regime’s forces said Israeli jets fired missiles at al-Qutayfah area and then fired ground-to-ground rockets. Syrian defenses have brought the missiles down and also hit one of the planes.

According to Asad’s army, Israeli jets fired a final barrage of four rockets from inside Israel which caused material damage.

However, the Israeli army has refused to give any comments on the reported incident.
