Woody Allen accused of sexual abuse by daughter: Denies claim

NEW YORK – Famed Hollywood director Woody Allen has been hit with claims of sexual abuse by his adoptive daughter.

Dylan Farrow has claimed that Woody Allen sexually exploited her while he was with her mother Mia Farrow.

He’s lying and he’s been lying for so long,” she said while being interviewed by CBS This Morning.

“He was always touching me, cuddling me and, if I ever said, you know, like I want to go off by myself, he wouldn’t let me. He often asked me to get into bed with him when he had only his underwear on and, sometimes, when only I had my underwear on,” Farrow added.

Woody, the 82 year old director has issued a statement, denying all the allegations. He accused Mia Farrow and her family of “cynically” exploiting the Time’s Up movement to repeat “discredited” child molestation allegations.

Even though the Farrow family is cynically using the opportunity afforded by the Time’s Up movement to repeat this discredited allegation, that doesn’t make it any more true today than it was in the past,” Allen stated.

In 1992, Farrow discovered photographic evidence of an affair between Allen and her adopted daughter Soon-Yi Previn, which resulted in a legal battle that continued for years. A report conducted by poilce stated that Woody had molested his then 7 year old daughter, Dylan.

The controversy has given Woody Allen a bad publicity, with many actors showing distaste in in working with Mr. Allen. Actor Colin Firth has alos stated that he does not wish to work with Woody Allen in the future.
