SHARJAH – Quetta Gladiators defeated Islamabad United by six wickets in the ninth match of the Pakistan Super League 2018 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
Batting first, Islamabad United scored 134 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. Luke Ronchi made 43 runs off 26 balls while skipper Misbah-ul-Haq scored 22. In reply, Quetta Gladiators achieved the target in 17.1 overs for four wickets. Kevin Pietersen was declared man of the match as he hammered 48 in just 31 balls.

Fast bowler Anwar Ali gave an early breakthrough to Quetta after taking down United’s opener Chadwick Walton for eight runs in his second over of the match.
Earlier, Quetta Gladiators skipper Sarfaraz Ahmad won the toss and elected to bowl first against Islamabad United in the ninth match of the Pakistan Super League 2018 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
