KARACHI: The National Stadium in Karachi seems to have become a place where patriotism and passion have come together to be reborn. With the successful and uplifting PSL matches acting as a catalyst to unite the nation as one, once again, the cricket lovers have proved that their love for their country is real.
On Sunday, before of the start of the first T2oI between West Indies and Pakistan, as the crowd sang the national anthem, the sound system at the stadium failed and stopped working.
However, this was not enough to deter the whopping 25,000 people present to support their country who continued to sing the anthem unified as one distinct voice and not only showed real love for country, but also saved the Pakistan Cricket Board from embarrassment.
The malfunction occurred when the anthem was near its end and the crowd sang it even louder when the music went off and even managed to keep it synchronized!
