ISLAMABAD – Pakistan’s most favourite Pakistan Super League star, Daren Sammy, will be returning to Pakistan for attending the Peshawar Zalmi Annual Excellence Awards.
Peshawar Zalmi chairman Javed Afridi announced the return of West Indian player on Twitter, earning praise from the cricket fans in the country.

“Very few captains in franchise cricket are loved as much as you are.” said the Zalmi chairman as he welcomed the right-handed batsman.
The awards which will take place on April 30 in Islamabad, will also feature the likes of former West Indies great Brian Lara and Sir Viv Richards.
Besides Sammy, Javed Afridi announced that former Australian bowler Jeff Thomson, England captain Nasser Hussein and Graham Gooch will also be in attendance.
The inaugural edition of the star-studded Zalmi Annual Excellence Awards would be held in collaboration with PTV.
