India- The trailers of Sanjay Dutt’s biopic “Sanju” by Rajkumar Hirani are out and we cannot stop ourselves from noticing the uncanny resemblance of Ranbir’s get up with Sanjay Dutt. In an interview Ranbir told how when he was offered this role he thought he doesn’t have the understanding or even the confidence to pull this strong character of his inspiration off.

On the launch of the trailer Ranbir told how he didn’t take this role as a character but for him it was a lifetime opportunity to be Sanjay Dutt. It was not an acting gig for him as Sanjay is his icon. Ranbir added how Dutt might be flawed but he is a very good person. Kapoor told how he was scared though he has observed Dutt for his lifetime but due to the strong personality and evolution it was still scary for him but his amazing team made things a lot easier for him.

When Ranbir was asked if he would want a movie based on his life to be made he replied I’m a very boring person as I work , go home and just sleep so there won’t be a message which can be conveyed through his movie and even if it was to be made it will be a very existential kind of film.
