LAHORE- ‘Faiz Ghar’ officials are going to pay tribute to the late’ Asma Jahangir’ on 27th April evening at ‘Ali Complex’ situated at Ferozpur Road, Lahore. An event titled ‘A tribute to Asma Jahangir’will be held tonight to pay homage to the human rights activist.
The evening compromises f poetry and music sessions by local artists. It will be attended by people from all walks of life.
The fearless lawyer will be always remembered by the people for her services and bravery. She risked her life and always stood up for victims of domestic violence, religious persecution, political oppression.
What an iron lady she was.
