SYDNEY – Kanye West’s 2XU Sydney launch last Saturday was shut down after just 45 minutes. Customers failed to turn up to the Oxford Street store to purchase the rapper’s collaboration with the Australian sportswear giant. The management decided to shut down the launch in 45 minutes.
‘There’s been a change of direction from head office and unfortunately the event has been cancelled,’ the spokesperson said.
Kanye has earlier enraged the public by his views on slavery. This seems to be a backlash of his statement.
