PTI, China’s Communist Party ink MoU to strengthen bilateral ties

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Communist Party of China (CPC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Sunday to further strengthen ties between the two parties.

The document was signed by PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi and the head of the delegation of Communist Party of China.

Talking to the Chinese leader, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said both Pakistan and China enjoy excellent close relations which will be further strengthened.

He said that the scope of multi-billion dollars China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project will be further expanded after mutual consultations.

Yesterday, the five-member CPC delegation visited the Central Secretariat of PTI in Islamabad, where they were welcomed by PTI Secretary General Arshad Dad.

The PTI government says it is keenly interested to get benefit of the Chinese experience on poverty alleviation.
