KARACHI – Televangelist and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) lawmaker expressed his reservations publicly against the party after he was not invited to a high-profile meeting at the Sindh governor House.
The PTI lawmaker took to Twitter on Tuesday and announced that the newly-sworn in Governor Imran Ismail invited all MNAs and MPAs from Karachi to the meeting except him.
The MNA also quoted a phrase “Is Tarha to Hota Hai Is Tarha Kay Kamo Mein” (this is what happens in these types of affairs).

In another interview on private media, the scholar alleged that the PTI was not focusing on Karachi, a claim which was denied by his fellow Faisal Vawda.
Aamir Liaquat also claimed that once Imran Khan told him that he was not focusing on Karachi and was looking forward to Punjab for electoral victory.
“I repeatedly ask Imran Khan to visit Karachi but he didn’t listen to me,” he added.
When asked whether he was furious over the denial of ministry, Liaquat expressed he will not even accept one if offered now.
Liaquat also decried that Imran Khan was not consulting anyone nowadays, adding he invited the incumbent premier to Karachi multiple times, but to no avail.
He claimed that the reports of a forward bloc were not truthful, however, said a storm was brewing up in the party.
Faisal Javed Reacts
Reacting to the outburst of Liaquat, PTI senator Faisal Javed Khan said that he will implore Aamir Liaquat to think of Pakistan and rise above his own interest for the larger interest of the nation.
“I believe anyone would have won on a PTI ticket in Karachi for people voted for Imran Khan’s ideology. If he thinks it’s his own vote bank, he should have contested independently,” said Faisal in response to a statement attributed to Liaquat that he won on his own which was later termed fake by Hussain.
Javed also expressed that Hussain was a part of the entertainment industry and an adventurist who would give a different statement the following day.
Afterward, Hussain tweeted that Faisal Javed made a telephone call to him and clarified things.
Aamir Liaquat had also given rebellious statements against PTI when he was reportedly denied the party ticket, which was later awarded for NA-245.
