Class 9 student attempts suicide in Hafizabad

HAFIZABAD (Staff Report) -  A class 9 student has attempted suicide at the Government High School No-1 in Hafizabad city.

According to media reports Hafiz Zeeshan, who is a resident of Mohallah Mian Da Kot, attempted to kill himself by cutting throat with a sharp-edged knife in the school washroom.

He was shifted to the DHQ Hospital where he is stated to be out of danger.

It is learnt that the student was being annoyed with his parents while Police are investigating further evidences.

Meanwhile, Education EDO Iftikhar Nawaz Virk and DEO Rai Irshad visited the hospital and inquired about the condition of student.
