Ex-MPA Shumaila Rana blacklisted by PU over using unfair means to clear exams

LAHORE - Punjab University blacklisted former Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) legislator Shumaila Rana for one year over mentioning her designation and phone number in the LLB examinations, reported SAMAA news.

Instead of writing answer of a question in the LLB part-I examinations, Shumaila Rana mentioned her designation and phone number on the answer sheet asking the department to contact her.

As she could not defend here case before the disciplinary committee, the university administration put her name on blacklist for one year.

In 2009, Rana was heavily criticized by the public over allegedly buying jewellery with a stolen credit card.
