ONTARIO – Renowned Islamic scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel who was on his Canada tour suffered a severe headache, according to a video posted on social media.

Tariq Jameel who recently addressed Canadian legislators posted a video on Monday in which he could be seen detailing the nature of the headache, expressing pain.

The televangelist who could be seen speaking hardly apologised to his followers for not being able to deliver sermons in Canada as per schedule and sought prayers for his early recovery.
The video came after social media buffs murmured that maulana Tariq Jameel suffered a heart attack, however, the cleric himself refuted the rumours and clarified that it was only a severe headache.
Jameel, who enjoys widespread popularity internationally, headed to Canada from Dubai on May 12 after security clearance.
He also addressed political stalwarts and members of Canadian parliament last week and was slated to deliver Islamic lectures during the current week as well but he tendered apology citing the severe headache.
