PESHAWAR– A Pakistan soldier, who received injuries when terrorists targeted military posts from across the Afghan border on Sunday, embraced martyrdom, local media reported.

The Pakistani authorities had closed Torkham border with Afghanistan for an indefinite period after a series of attacks, especially after suicide blast at the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar.

Later, the officials of Afghan embassy in Pakistan were also handed over a list of 76 terrorists who they believe are hiding in Afghanistan.

Earlier, Pakistan Army on February 24 conducted targeted strikes across the Afghan border killing two high-profile terrorists affiliated with Jamaat-ul-Ahrar.
