Another case has been registered against the businesswoman who has been involved in a car accident in Karachi’s Karsaz area in which a man and his daughter were killed.
According to the police, the new case against the businesswoman has been registered in the Bahadurabad Police Station on the basis of the medico-legal officer’s report with the State as complainant. This time the police have added provisions of drug use to the First Information Report (FIR). The new case was registered against the businesswoman after drugs were found in her urine samples.
The earlier medical report of the woman suggested she was under the influence of methamphetamine, commonly known as Ice in Pakistan, at the time of the accident in which she hit a motorcyclist and his student daughter with her SUV and then crushed them under her wheel. Her SUV turned turtle after the accident. The woman was taken into custody immediately after the accident and blood and urine samples were taken at Karachi’s Jinnah Hospital.
Earlier, a case was registered against the accused woman on charges of murder and attempted murder.
