LAHORE – Unknown assailants gunned down Javed Butt, brother-in-law of Teefi Butt, in Lahore on Monday.
It is pertinent to mention that Teefi Butt is the main accused in the Ameer Balaj murder case.
Firing occurred near Muslim Town underpass in the Ichhra area. SP Model Town Ikhlaq Ullah Tarrar arrived at the scene with heavy police force.
According to the police, Muhammad Javed Butt was killed on the spot after being hit by bullets, while the deceased’s wife was injured in the firing and has been shifted to the hospital.
The deceased Javed Butt’s daughter, who was in the car, remained unharmed. The deceased Javed Butt was the brother-in-law of Teefi Butt, the main accused in the Ameer Balaj murder case.
SP Model Town Ikhlaq Ullah Tarrar stated that an investigation into the incident has been initiated.
