KARACHI – The return of international cricket turned sweeter for the local fans as Pakistan on Tuesday scripted a sure-footed whitewash against West Indies in the three-match T20Is.
Pakistan won the third T20I by eight wickets against West Indies by chasing the 154-run target as in-form opener Babar Azam scored another half-century in the series.
Fakhar Zaman provided early momentum to the Sarfraz-led team with his 40 runs off 17 balls, including six fours and two sixes on the strike rate of 235.29.
Courtesy a sure-footed half-century by Andre Fletcher complimented with Denesh Ramdin’s blistering cameo, West Indies posted a fighting total of 153 runs against Pakistan in the third T20I being held in Karachi.
Earlier, West Indies won the toss and decided to bat first against Pakistan in the final T20I at National Stadium Karachi on Tuesday.
