ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan will be addressing the nation for one more time on August 18 to discuss the government’s performance in its first year.
The Prime Minister’s Office has directed all the ministries and divisions to share their five key achievements from the past year when Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf swept to power.
According to the PM Office, the premier will review the performance of each individual ministry and assess their progress; the performance of different sectors would be shared by the premier himself in a televised address.
The federal government will also release a formal report of the ministries’ progress. Moreover, the provincial governments have also been directed to issue detailed reports of their performance of the past year.
The prime minister has addressed the nation multiple times, however, his upcoming interaction with the public on August 18th would be crucial as Imran Khan had taken the oath of his office on this day last year.
