Pakistans Foreign Reserves Reach 15 98b

ISLAMABAD – The State Bank has stated that foreign exchange reserves increased by $1.168 billion during the past week, bringing the total reserves to over $15.98 billion.

According to the data released by the State Bank, a tranche of $1.269 billion was received from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) last week, leading to an increase of $1.168 billion in official reserves over the week.

The data shows that the value of official foreign exchange reserves has reached $10.7017 billion.

The State Bank further stated that, as of September 27, the total foreign exchange reserves stood at $15.9829 billion, with $5.2812 billion held by commercial banks.
