KARACHI – Gold rates in Pakistan saw slight decreased on Tuesday amid drop in international market.
Data shared by Sarafa association shows international bullion market witnessed a decline in gold prices, with the price per ounce dropping by $5, bringing it down to $2,498. This global dip in gold prices has had a direct impact on local jewelry markets.
In Pakistan, price of 24-carat gold in the local markets fell by Rs1,000 per tola, settling at Rs261,500. The price of 10 grams of gold also experienced a decrease, dropping by Rs857 to reach Rs224,194.

Despite the fluctuations in gold prices, silver prices remained stable in the local market. The price of silver per tola held steady at PKR 2,950, while the price for 10 grams of silver remained unchanged at PKR 2,529.14.
