Guns, ammunition and hammer: Photographs from inside Las Vegas shooter s room emerge online

LAS VEGAS – Multiple photographs captured inside the room from where the Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock targeted the concert audience on Sunday, popped up online showing the weapons used during the deadliest mass shooting ever recorded in US history.

The pictures emerged on Tuesday show the Mandalay Bay hotel room where Paddock checked-in four days prior, using the ID of his girlfriend, Marilou Danley.

Numerous rounds of ammunition, guns and a hammer that was presumably used to break the windows of the room on the 32nd floor, can also be seen.

The bipod used to stand the weapon for spraying the crowd with bullets is also in view.

The 64-year-old killed 58 people and injured more than 500, making it the most deadly massacre in modern US history, however, the incident was not termed an act of terrorism as US President Donald Trump said the gunman was a “sick man, a demented man”.

According to US media, Paddock is reported to have lived in a retirement village in Mesquite, Nevada, since June 2016 and is believed to have been born on April 9, 1953.

Records show he previously lived in Reno, Nevada, from 2011 to 2016, and also had an address in Melbourne, Florida, from 2013 to 2015.

He has also lived in Henderson, Nevada, and several locations in California since 1990, it is reported.

The Las Vegas police confirmed that they found as many as 23 guns inside his hotel room, including semiautomatic rifles.

The shooter killed himself as police entered his hotel room. Officers believe he had been in the hotel since 28 September. Police are also looking for two vehicles associated with the shooter, a Hyundai Tucson Nevada/114B40 and a Chrysler Pacifica Nevada/79D401.
