RAWALPINDI – Renowned educationist Syed Azhar Hussain Abidi called on Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday.
According to a press release issued by the military’s media wing, the military chief appreciated the services rendered by Mr Abidi towards the promotion of education in the country.
Mr Abidi has provided counselling and assisted more than 15000 Pakistani students including wards of martyrs for their studies abroad on full/partial scholarships over the last two decades.
Abidi appears on TV shows on a frequent basis to help students decide a career path as per their aptitude and also writes columns in leading papers.
