LAHORE (Web Desk) – Prominent singer Humaira Arshad burst into tears as she refuted the allegations leveled against her by husband Ahmed Butt at Lahore Press Club on Tuesday.
She said her spouse had threatened her he would tarnish her image, take away her son and throw acid on her. He also wanted her to give him share in property in case of separation between the two, she added.
Talking about her baby, she started weeping in the press and said she wanted to take her baby back from him.
She also said her husband used to beat her in front of the whole neighborhood and relatives.
She said she had a love marriage with Butt 12 years ago, but now his elder brother was forcing him to fetch all the money from her. She said he did not give her even a single penny in her marriage life.
She said at the time of marriage Butt did not even have his own house.
