Army Chief to visit Iran soon: Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor

Rawalpindi: Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed will soon go to Iran on an official visit, DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor briefed media, on Thursday.

During the press conference, Asif Ghafoor said “our western borders meet Afghanistan as well as Iran and we want good relations with both. Pakistan has called back 200,000 soldiers from the western border after the situation improved significantly.”

DG ISPR further talked about the rumors about Martial Law, and the Rangers refusal to let the Interior Minister enter the court premises and other issues of importance.
