GUJRANWALA – The husband of a government school teacher was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting students for years in Gujranwala city of Punjab.
Police said the suspect had made videos of the female students and used to blackmail them, adding that he had been involved in the heinous crime for several years.
The victim students are said to be aged between 11 to 14 years. Police took action after a girl shared her ordeal with the parents, who later filed a complaint against the suspect.
Police said five cases had been registered against the suspect, adding that medical reports had also confirmed that the girls were raped.
The suspect has confessed to the crime, the police said, adding that the school has also been closed until investigation is underway.
