ISLAMABAD (Web desk) – Minister for Information,Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid Tuesday said Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has twisted facts with regard to recounting in NA-122 constituency.
In a statement, the Minister said Imran Khan presented wrong facts and figures in his recent news conference addressed at Banigala to avoid embarrassment he faced after recounting in four constituencies.
“Khan Sahib is giving extremely wrong statements after facing defeat in recounting to avoid embarrassment,” he maintained. Matter of the fact was that the recounting confirmed defeat of the PTI with solid evidences, he said adding “Four constituencies were opened and now every thing is crystal clear.” Pervaiz Rashid said the public gave mandate to Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz in the elections-2013, and termed the attitude of Imran Khan “an attempt” to disrupt the present atmosphere of national consensus and unity in the country.
