FAISALABAD – A place where patients are provided treatment turned into a wrestling ring when the security guard of a hospital thrashed a 60-year-old patient and broke his teeth.
The incident happened on Friday when the patient was brought to Faisalabad Cardiology Institute and heated words were exchanged between the family of the patient and a security guard named Shafqat Cheema.
Later, the guard tortured the patient and his son badly and ousted them from the hospital without treatment. He also beat them with the grip panel of a handgun.
It is not the first time that security guards have tortured patients in Faisalabad.
