LOS ANGELES (Web Desk) – Former US first lady Nancy Reagan passed away on Sunday at age 94.
According to a spokeswoman for the Reagan Presidential Library and Foundation, Congestive died at her home in Los Angeles of congestive heart failure. She will be buried next to her husband at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California, the spokesman added.
Her marriage to Ronald Reagan lasted 52 years until his death in 2004.
A former actress, she was Reagan’s closest adviser and fierce protector on his journey from actor to governor of California to president of the United States.
Her most publicised project as first lady was the “Just Say No” anti-drug campaign.
