KABUL – US drone strikes targeted and killed 15 Daesh members near the Pak-Afghan border in Afghanistan on Sunday.
The strikes also left six Daesh fighters injured in three attacks, targeting four bases of the terrorist organisation in the Afghan province Nangarhar, sources said.
There has been a rise in the drone attacks in the war-torn Afghanistan after the August 21 speech of US President Donald Trump in which he alleged pakistan of providing safe havens to terrorists.
On October 17, at least 31 people were killed while 12 others were left injured in three drone strikes near the Pak-Afghan border in Afghanistan.
