Punjab govt notifies Eid Miladun Nabi holiday on Sept 17

LAHORE – The Punjab government has also announced a public holiday on Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), following the federal government’s announcement.

A notification has been issued by the Punjab government declaring a public holiday across the province on Tuesday, 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal.

Preparations to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) are in full swing.

With the approval of the Chief Secretary of Punjab, a section officer issued the notification, stating that all government offices across the province will remain closed on Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).

Earlier, the federal government officially announced a nationwide public holiday on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, to commemorate the auspicious occasion of 12th Rabi ul Awwal.

The announcement has been confirmed through an official notification, putting an end to the speculation that had been circulating earlier regarding the holiday.
