NEW DELHI – The trailer of dark thriller comedy ‘Kaalakaandi’ by Akshat Verma (Delhi Belly) starring Bollywood’s Nawab Saif Ali Khan is finally out and it is an entertaining ride. It is a film that is “very intelligent that is made on a shoestring budget”, as quoted by Saif Ali Khan, and the trailer definitely proves his point!
In the start of the two and a half minute trailer, we witness Saif Ali Khan’s character discovering a baffling truth through his doctor; he has stomach cancer. How the series of fortunate/unfortunate events take hold from that point on keep you hooked till the very end!

Shenaz Treasury, Sobhita Dhulipala, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Akshay Oberoi and Isha Talwar alongside Vijay Raaz and Deepak Dobriyal also play important roles in the film. ‘Kaalakaandi’ is set to release on January 12, 2018.
