LAHORE (STAFF REPORT) – Thousands of Muslims sat for Itikaf at the mosques throughout the country after Maghrib prayers on Wednesday.
The faithful observing Itikaf sat-in seclusion in mosques and worship till the sighting of Shawwal moon. During this period, they will offer special prayers and seek Allah Almighty’s blessings and mercy.
In major mosques like Faisal Masjid in Islamabad lectures from religious scholars have been specially arranged for Itikaf observers.
