ISLAMABAD – PTI leader and former president Arif Alvi apologised on X (formerly Twitter) for sharing an old video for today’s public gathering in Islamabad.
In his statement, Arif Alvi said that the video was from a previous event and has been deleted. “I apologize for this mistake,” he added.
It should be noted that the former president had retweeted a video of a rally from August 14, claiming it to be the convoy heading to PTI’s Islamabad rally today.
After being pointed out by several social media users, Arif Alvi deleted the post.
Earlier, Azma Bokhari highlighted the video, stating that Alvi had to rely on a fake video for propaganda, as he shared an old video from August 14.
