Renowned producer and director, former managing director of Pakistan Television (PTV), Athar Waqar Azim, passed away due to cardiac arrest.
He was the son of famous writer and poet Professor Syed Waqar Azim and the younger brother of former PTV Managing Director Akhtar Waqar Azim.
His funeral prayer will be held on Tuesday upon the return of his son, who resides abroad.
