PARIS (Web Desk) – A French waitress in a cafe in central Nice was allegedly assaulted by two Muslim men for serving alcohol during Ramadan.
The men are said to have started abusing her when they saw she was serving alcohol to customers, media reported.
The waitress filed a police complaint, stating that she was assaulted by two men because she refused to “stop serving alcohol” on the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.
She said one of the men screamed she was a “whore” and slapped her across the face, knocking her to the ground and leaving her with a black eye.
Police said they have identified the men using CCTV footage but are unable to locate them.
