American porn star Seven Hopkins aka Jay Hefner was killed in a shooting incident while trying to save his cousin.
The incident occurred on Sunday in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he was attending a family event.
Hopkins was a father of a 10-month-old daughter and took care of his sick mother and siblings.
Police were called to the scene of a fight, where two people had been shot; Hopkins succumbed to his injuries at 5:37 AM.
Hopkins’ family has launched a fundraising campaign to help cover his funeral expenses and alleviate financial burdens.
