Rizwan scores slowest 50 by any Pakistani in T20 format in PAKvsCAN match

Pakistan on Tuesday scored their first victory in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 as they beat the newcomer Canada by 7 wickets in the 22nd match of the mega tournament in New York.

Tuesday’s victory came as a breather for Pakistan after their back-to-back losses to the United States (USA) on June 6 and India on June 9. Mohammad Rizwan’s batting played a critical role in today’s victory against Canada as he scored 53 runs off 53 balls.

He opened the batting along with Saim Ayub, but was able to complete his 50 at the end of the 17th over of the innings. It took him more than two hours to complete his 50 in today’s match between Pakistan and Canada.

In today’s match between Pakistan and Canada, Rizwan achieved another milestone. He completed his 7,000 runs in international cricket.
