Exclusive: Oasis school for autism hosted a bake sale at Roots Millenium

LAHORE – It is rare in Lahore that we find a non-profit organization that goes an extra mile to cater to children with special needs. Today we attended a bake sale at Roots Millennium that was hosted by Oasis School For Autism. We interacted with the children who shook hands with us and introduced themselves while showing off the edibles they had to offer and also the art work that was absolutely priceless.

These handmade creations by the children of Oasis were the main attraction for the students of Roots today, and also the WOW-factor for us!

Bags made of canvases were sold like hot cakes.

35,000 were raised by the school. Donations are surely required and would surely be encouraged.

Furthermore, volunteers are needed by the organization to help out with building an even better system and helping with the children’s social needs.

The faculty was lovely and easy to talk to.
