KARACHI (Online) – The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Monday decided to name its party leader Waseem Akhtar as Mayor Karachi.
According to media reports, the decision was taken in a joint meeting of MQM’s Karachi and London coordination committees.

The MQM also nominated Arshad Vohra as Deputy Mayor Karachi, reports said.

The meeting named Farooq Sattar as MQM’s Senior Deputy Convener and Nasreen Jalil as Deputy Convener.
