MOSCOW – It has been 15 years now since the New York’s twin towers were destroyed by hijacked planes. But still several conspiracy theories which suggest an alleged role of American government in the 9/11 incident continue to circulate online.
In latest to this is the claim of a Russian website that says President Vladimir Putin is on the verge releasing some concrete evidence to prove the involvement of the US government and the intelligence services.
The Pravda website claimed that the towers were actually brought down by controlled explosions inside the buildings and that the White House was directly responsible for this.
“Osama bin Laden and the plane hijackers were only pawns,” the website said, further adding: “President George Bush was involved in the 9/11 incident beyond any doubt.”
The report concluded that Russian President Vladimir Putin has collected solid evidence which will clear the air once and for all.
The World Trade Center’s twin towers were brought down by hijacked planes on September 11, 2001. Over 3,000 people had died in the tragedy. Al-Qaeda and its leader Osama bin Laden were officially held responsible for the attack.
