SARGODHA – A couple was shot dead by unknown persons, in the precincts of Jhaverian police station on Saturday.
Police said that Ahmad Yar, residents of Jhaverian village along with his wife Tahira and daughter Afia (12) was riding a motorcar on Bhera road when unidentified persons opened fire at them.
As a result, Ahmad Yar and his wife died on the spot while their daughter remained safe. The bodies were handed over to the family after postmortem. Police have registered a case against unknown accused.
The investigation is underway.
