MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan might have broken up a couple of years ago, but their on-screen comeback is all the latest talk of the town. In a recent interview, the actress has revealed to us an incident in which Salman kept laughing while she kept bursting into tears.
The actress shared how she was once chucked out of a film starring John Abraham, recalling how Salman was a pillar of support to her throughout during her early days in B-town.
“We all know that Salman has the kind of heart that loves to help people. But for me, the greatest strength that he was to me was that he didn’t try to make things different for me, he encouraged me every moment to stand up, find my own feet and work hard,” she said.
While commenting on how she was chucked out of a movie despite shooting for the flick for two whole days, she quoted, “I was called one night for a shot. It was a silent shot, that too I was playing a ghost. It was a passing shot. After shooting for two days, I was told I am chucked out. When I left the room, I started crying, I was bawling my eyes out.“
Here comes the interesting part. When she later met Salman Khan she told him of the whole incident while crying profusely; this is where Salman strangely kept laughing right at her.
“Sometime in the day, I met Salman and I’m weeping, and he’s just laughing. I started to think he’s so mean. I’m thinking my career is over and I’ve been chucked out from my first film and it’s the end of my life and he’s laughing? He finally gave in and calmed me down saying, you don’t understand, this doesn’t mean anything,” said the actress.
The Dabangg actor told Katrina Kaif to just keep her focus and always work hard to make it big in the film industry.
